Trading Engineer - Execution
IMC is seeking a dedicated Trading Engineer to join our execution development team. This role involves managing critical real-time trading systems, encompassing hardware, network connectivity, application performance, and exchange interactions. The position offers a blend of operational support and project-based engineering, providing immediate impact and long-term system improvements.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the stability of live trading operations, swiftly resolving production issues, and developing automation tools to enhance system orchestration. The Trading Engineer will collaborate with technology and trading teams to evolve system architecture, support market connectivity, and proactively monitor system performance to identify and address potential risks.
Candidates should possess 2-5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Integration, or a related field, with hands-on expertise in Linux operating systems, network configuration, and server management. A strong understanding of network fundamentals, proficiency in Python and Bash, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline are required. Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL technologies, Kubernetes, containerization, and FPGA systems in a Linux environment is preferred.
The base salary for this role ranges from $175,000 to $225,000 USD. In addition to the base salary, full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits, including paid leave and insurance. For more detailed information, please visit our benefits page.
