UI/UX Designer - (onsite)
Public Storage is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our technology and marketing teams in Frisco, Texas. As the largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities worldwide, we are committed to enhancing our digital platforms to provide intuitive and accessible user experiences. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for designing user-centric interfaces for our websites, mobile apps, and digital products, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines. Key responsibilities include conducting user research, developing personas, mapping user journeys, creating wireframes and prototypes, and performing usability testing to inform design decisions. Collaboration with product managers, developers, marketing teams, and stakeholders is essential to translate business needs into effective design solutions. The role also involves iterating designs based on feedback and analytics to enhance usability and customer satisfaction.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least three years of professional experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications. A strong portfolio demonstrating digital product design work, proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards are required. Experience in user research, usability testing, and effective communication and collaboration skills are also essential.
Public Storage offers a collaborative work environment with an emphasis on in-person teamwork. Employees are expected to work onsite five days a week, with the flexibility to take up to three remote days per month.
