US: Associate Director, Cloud Security & Integration Architect
The Associate Director, Cloud Security & Integration Architect at Legend Biotech will lead cloud security and integration initiatives, focusing on system hardening and tooling across the enterprise. This role aims to leverage advanced technologies to enhance efficiency, support growth, and improve the organization's security posture. The individual will drive the cloud security strategy, oversee identity and access management, and ensure cybersecurity controls align with business goals.
Key responsibilities include building and leading the design and installation of the cloud security strategy, reviewing and approving all technical designs, and contributing to the development and maintenance of Legend's cybersecurity strategy. The role encompasses cybersecurity solutions architecture, documentation for secure design documents (SDDs) and Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and cloud security technology integration. Additionally, the individual will lead and own Legend's Global Identity & Access Management (IAM), User Access Management (UAM), and Privilege Access Management (PAM/PIM) services. Continuous auditing of the environment to mitigate cloud security and privilege risks, developing and maintaining processes and metrics for continuous improvements, and leading the design of application security and information protection programs are also key aspects of the role.
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, with an advanced degree preferred. Candidates should have at least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and operations, with at least 10 years within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or cybersecurity industries. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in CI methodologies, secondary research, data interpretation, and triangulation are essential. Experience with coding, use of R scripts, Python, and pivot tables is required.
