Vice President, Aviation Growth
Metropolis is seeking a Vice President of Aviation Growth to lead the development and execution of growth and commercial strategies within the aviation sector. This pivotal role involves shaping the long-term vision and roadmap for profitable expansion, integrating data-driven insights, commercial strategy, and ecosystem partnerships to drive market leadership and profitability.
Key responsibilities include scaling the "Value Add Services" by enhancing airport revenue services and SaaS income through integrated pricing, reservations, and marketing capabilities. The role also involves relaunching the Aviation B2B Segment product with robust marketing and channel strategies, building strategic partnerships with airlines and airport technology providers, and co-leading the unified product and service roadmap for aviation offerings. Additionally, the Vice President will create and maintain a 5-year financial and strategic plan, develop dashboards to track aviation performance, lead M&A strategies, and represent Metropolis in industry forums.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in aviation, mobility, transportation, travel, or technology sectors, with a proven track record in commercial growth leadership. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a strong background in strategy, business development, partnerships, and P&L management. Proficiency in financial modeling, data-driven decision-making, and market analysis is essential, as is the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive organizational alignment. Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills are also necessary.
The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $280,000 to $310,000 annually. The total compensation package may also include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a stock option plan, and bonus plans.
