Vice President, Aviation Growth
Metropolis is seeking a Vice President of Aviation Growth to lead the development and execution of growth and commercial strategies within the aviation sector. This pivotal role involves shaping the long-term vision and roadmap for profitable expansion, integrating data-driven insights, commercial strategies, and ecosystem partnerships to drive success.
Key responsibilities include scaling the 'Value Add Services' by enhancing airport revenue services and SaaS income through strategic pricing, reservations, and marketing initiatives. The role also entails relaunching the Aviation B2B Segment product with robust marketing and channel strategies, building strategic partnerships with airlines and airport technology providers, and co-leading the unified product and service roadmap for aviation offerings. Additionally, the Vice President will create and maintain a five-year financial and strategic plan, develop performance tracking frameworks, lead M&A strategies, and represent Metropolis in industry forums.
The ideal candidate will possess over 15 years of experience in aviation, mobility, transportation, travel, or technology sectors, demonstrating proven leadership in commercial growth. A strong background in strategy, business development, partnerships, and P&L management is essential, along with skills in financial modeling, data-driven decision-making, and market analysis. The candidate should also have experience managing cross-functional teams and excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities. While not mandatory, an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Metropolis offers a competitive base salary ranging from $280,000 to $310,000 annually, determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, and location. The comprehensive compensation package includes healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a stock option plan, and bonus plans. The company values in-person collaboration, requiring employees to be on-site at least four days a week to foster innovation and strengthen culture.
