Vice President of Operations Enablement
Metropolis is seeking a Vice President of Operations Enablement to enhance the effectiveness of our operators, partners, and internal teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Central Operations, this role is pivotal in translating our rapidly evolving business into scalable processes, programs, and playbooks. The successful candidate will lead and develop three high-impact teams—Learning, Launch, and Marketing—aligning their roadmaps with the broader goals of Central Operations.
Key responsibilities include architecting and owning the enablement strategy, developing frameworks and tools that drive operator adoption, team readiness, and go-to-market execution. The Vice President will partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to identify and address capability gaps, establish metrics and reporting infrastructure to track enablement effectiveness, and lead the design and execution of launch programs for new markets, features, and products. Additionally, this role involves building and managing a learning function to onboard, train, and continuously develop operators and internal stakeholders, as well as shaping the marketing function to produce content and campaigns that drive platform engagement.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in operations, enablement, go-to-market, or related functions, with at least 3 years managing multi-disciplinary teams. A proven track record of building processes and systems in high-growth startup or scale-up environments is essential, along with deep experience in learning and development, launch operations, or marketing functions. Strong communication skills, the ability to influence without authority, and experience leveraging AI tools to transform workflows are also required.
Metropolis offers a competitive base salary ranging from $170,000 to $200,000 annually, determined by various factors including qualifications, experience, and location.
