Vice President of Operations Enablement
The Vice President of Operations Enablement at Metropolis is a senior leadership role responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of operators, partners, and internal teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Central Operations, this position focuses on developing and implementing strategies that enable the company to scale efficiently in a rapidly evolving business environment.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing three high-impact teams—Learning, Launch, and Marketing—to align their objectives with the broader goals of Central Operations. The role involves architecting and owning the enablement strategy, including frameworks, programs, and tools that drive operator adoption, team readiness, and go-to-market execution. Additionally, the Vice President will partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Operations to identify and address capability gaps, establish metrics to track enablement effectiveness, and lead the design and execution of launch programs for new markets, features, and products.
Candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in operations, enablement, go-to-market, or related functions, with a minimum of 3 years managing multi-disciplinary teams. A proven track record of building processes and systems in high-growth startup or scale-up environments is essential. Deep experience in learning and development, launch operations, or marketing functions is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional partners. Experience leveraging AI tools to transform workflows is also desirable.
The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 annually. The total compensation package may also include healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, disability coverage, life insurance, stock options, and bonus plans. Metropolis values in-person collaboration and requires corporate team members to be on-site at least four days a week to foster innovation and strengthen company culture.
