Vice President, People & Talent
Armada is seeking a Vice President of People & Talent to lead and expand its globally distributed People organization. This senior leadership role involves designing and enhancing the infrastructure, systems, and operational practices necessary to support the company's ongoing growth. The position oversees Global People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Workspaces, ensuring that compliance, workforce planning, performance frameworks, and the People technology ecosystem evolve in alignment with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing a scalable and compliant global People Operations framework, collaborating with Legal on employment law and regulatory compliance, managing payroll and benefits across multiple jurisdictions, and ensuring audit readiness and strong internal controls. The role also involves leading global recruiting strategies, implementing structured hiring processes, improving hiring metrics, and aligning headcount planning with financial forecasts. Additionally, the Vice President will optimize the People technology stack, establish data governance, drive automation, and build a tech-enabled People platform for long-term growth.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in Global People Operations and Talent Acquisition, particularly within technically complex organizations that span both software and hardware environments. Demonstrated success in scaling distributed and international teams across multiple jurisdictions is essential. Strong partnerships with Legal and Finance in compliance-focused settings, experience in building People infrastructure during periods of operational growth and geographic expansion, and a proven ability to design and optimize People systems and technology platforms are also required. Financial discipline and experience managing functional budgets are critical, along with a systems-oriented approach to enhancing performance standards and organizational rigor.
Compensation for this role ranges from $220,300 to $260,000 annually, with final compensation determined by experience, scope, and level. In addition to a competitive base salary, the position offers equity and subsidized benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, retirement plan options such as 401(k) and Roth 401(k), unlimited paid time off, and 14 paid company holidays per year.
