Vice President Product, Government Solutions
The Vice President of Product, Government Solutions at Verra Mobility will lead the transformation of the Government Solutions product portfolio, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Head of Product, with a dotted line to the Executive Vice President, Government Solutions. Verra Mobility is a global leader in smart mobility, developing technology-enabled solutions that enhance transportation safety and efficiency. The company collaborates with municipalities and law enforcement agencies to implement over 4,000 safety cameras across North America and manages tolling transactions for more than 8.5 million vehicles.
In this role, the Vice President will define and communicate a compelling product vision aligned with the company's mission and business objectives. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative solutions that integrate hardware, AI, SaaS, and services, ensuring these products meet customer needs and drive measurable business impact. The position also involves optimizing team structures to minimize dependencies and prioritize growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of product leadership experience, including at least 5 years at the senior leadership or VP level in a medium-to-large public software or technology-enabled services company. A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred. Experience in complex B2B/B2G/B2C environments, particularly in GovTech, transportation, public safety, IoT/Smart City, FinTech, or defense tech, is strongly preferred. The candidate should demonstrate success in transforming feature-team organizations into empowered product team organizations and possess a deep understanding of modern platform architecture, including APIs, microservices, and cloud migration.
