VP, Customer Engineering (AI & Infrastructure)

Armada is seeking a visionary Vice President of Customer Engineering to lead a globally distributed team at the forefront of AI infrastructure and edge computing. This pivotal leadership role involves guiding the pre-sales technical lifecycle across all regions, ensuring the delivery of scalable, field-proven solutions that address complex operational environments.

The VP will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class Customer Engineering organization, defining and executing a global hiring strategy, and fostering a culture of continuous learning around AI infrastructure and edge computing. Key responsibilities include leading technical discovery processes, developing validated edge architectures, and standardizing solution design standards for AI inference and real-time analytics.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with 7+ years of experience leading Customer Engineering or Solutions Architecture teams in pre-sales. Deep expertise in GPU-accelerated compute, AI inference pipelines, and edge AI platforms is essential, as well as strong leadership skills and experience working across diverse international stakeholders.

Compensation for this role ranges from $326,000 to $407,000 USD annually, varying based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to the salary, this role offers equity and subsidized benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, health savings accounts, retirement plan options, unlimited paid time off, and 15 paid company holidays per year.
