ProShares is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to oversee the strategic direction and lifecycle management of its leveraged and inverse (geared), crypto, commodity, and volatility fund lineup. This role is integral to the Product Management team and can be based in either Bethesda, MD, or New York, NY. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sophisticated financial products and the asset management industry.

The VP of Product Management will act as the central point for developing and implementing product strategies, including positioning, branding, pricing, and distribution support. Key responsibilities include crafting strategic product messaging, building business cases for product initiatives, and driving the execution of cross-functional product initiatives such as go-to-market campaigns and product launches. Additionally, the role involves monitoring product performance, conducting market analyses, and recommending product enhancements or rationalizations to ensure commercial success.

Candidates should have over seven years of relevant experience in the investment management industry, particularly in product management roles. Experience with '40 Act and '33 Act products, including ETFs and mutual funds, is essential. Strong project management skills are required, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex business processes and cross-functional teams. An advanced degree in finance or business, such as an MBA, or a professional designation like a CFA, is highly desirable.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $200,000, excluding discretionary bonus compensation. Total compensation may vary based on experience, role, location, department, and individual performance.
