WIZE Managing Director UK
Banyan Software is seeking a Managing Director for WIZE's United Kingdom operations. This role involves establishing and expanding WIZE's presence in the UK market, reporting directly to the CEO of WIZE. The position is based in London, with regular on-site presence in Geneva.
The Managing Director will be responsible for building the UK subsidiary from the ground up, including defining WIZE's expansion strategy, market positioning, and competitive response in the wealth management software market. Key responsibilities include driving revenue and annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth through new customer acquisition, expansion, pricing execution, and developing recurring revenue streams. The role also involves establishing a local presence, building bank and partner relationships, and creating a repeatable sales pipeline. Additionally, the Managing Director will serve as the primary executive relationship owner for key UK clients, bank partners, and influencers, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and contract renewal. Developing and deepening strategic partnerships across private banks, discretionary fund managers, and the wider UK wealth management ecosystem is also a key aspect of the role. The Managing Director will work closely with the CEO and product and technology leaders to ensure the platform addresses the needs of the UK market and to identify AI-driven opportunities to reposition the product and create durable competitive advantages within the WealthTech vertical.
Candidates should have 7–10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience in B2B SaaS, FinTech, or wealth-management software, with direct experience serving wealth managers, private banks, or asset managers. A proven track record of building a commercial presence in a new geography, including hiring local talent, establishing partnerships, and opening a market, is essential. Deep knowledge of the UK wealth management ecosystem, including private banks, discretionary fund managers, independent financial advisors (IFAs), and external asset managers, is required. Experience in wealth management software or portfolio management systems, or adjacent FinTech/WealthTech sectors, is highly desirable. Demonstrated conviction in AI, with experience in shipping product capabilities, embedding operational tooling, or leading sustained AI experimentation, is important. Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in French is advantageous due to the Geneva headquarters and Swiss relationships.
