Workday Financials Specialist
IMC is seeking a motivated Workday Financials Specialist to join our Global Finance Automation team. In this global-facing role, you will collaborate with our Finance Automation Team in Amsterdam and Finance teams worldwide. Your primary focus will be configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Financials modules, ensuring that system capabilities align with evolving business needs. This position offers an opportunity to deliver smart, scalable solutions that drive automation and optimize our finance processes.
Key responsibilities include partnering with regional stakeholders and the Global Finance Automation team to implement automation initiatives across finance operations. You will support and maintain global Workday Financials modules, configure and enhance solutions such as Accounting Center, Allocations, and reporting frameworks, and collaborate closely with Finance teams to understand end-to-end processes. Additionally, you will transform automation ideas into practical solutions using modern tools and align business requirements across regional and global teams.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience with Workday Financials and a solid understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals. Consulting experience in Workday Financials, including FDM & Accounting, Business Processes, Reporting, Allocations, Integrations, Supplier Account modules, and Accounting Center, is essential. A passion for learning about finance technologies and automation, strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive mindset are also required. Willingness to travel to other IMC offices and exposure to finance Python, ETL concepts, and BI platforms are considered a plus.
IMC offers a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $155,000 USD. In addition to the base salary, all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
