Workday Technology Analyst
Focus Financial Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workday Technology Analyst to support the ongoing administration, enhancement, and day-to-day operations of our Workday platform. This role is ideal for an early-career Workday professional who is eager to build deep expertise in Workday Finance, HCM, Adaptive, or Evisort while partnering closely with key business and technology teams.
The Workday Technology Analyst will play a hands-on role in system support, configuration, testing, and reporting, helping ensure that Workday effectively supports business processes and operations across a growing, multi-entity organization. This position offers strong exposure to corporate systems, best practices, and career development opportunities within a leading financial services firm.
Key responsibilities include providing day-to-day support for the Workday Financials platform, assisting with configuration, maintenance, and testing of various Workday Financials modules, supporting finance stakeholders by translating business requirements into new system functionality, participating in semi-annual Workday releases, maintaining system documentation, running and supporting financial reports and dashboards, assisting with data validation and audit support, supporting finance professionals during financial close processes, partnering with senior Workday resources and external vendors on enhancements and integrations, and promoting user adoption through training materials and best practices.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, 1–3+ years of experience maintaining and configuring Workday applications (HCM, Adaptive, or Financials), foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows, interest in building expertise in Workday Evisort (preferred), strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy, ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, ability to lead and influence stakeholders, strong communication skills with a collaborative, service-oriented mindset, and experience in a multi-entity or decentralized organization is a plus.
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000 and $100,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k).
