Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. As a key member of our legal team, you will collaborate closely with attorneys to provide comprehensive support throughout all phases of the litigation process. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a firm dedicated to advocating for consumer rights and delivering justice to our clients.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and coordinating depositions. Additionally, you will manage discovery documents, draft and serve summonses, and organize trial binders and exhibits. Effective communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties is essential to ensure the smooth progression of cases.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience, with a preference for those who have completed a nationally accredited paralegal program. A minimum of two years of litigation experience, particularly in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas, is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are required. Please note that this position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
