Working Student Tax
Celonis is seeking a Finance & Tax Intern to join its high-performing Finance & Tax team in Madrid. This team acts as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring compliance and driving efficiency through data and automation. The role offers an opportunity to delve into international corporate taxation and statutory reporting within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The intern will assist with Direct Tax compliance obligations and the statutory reporting process. Responsibilities include supporting Indirect Taxation compliance, such as VAT and Sales & Use Tax filings, assessing Withholding Tax obligations, and preparing Transfer Pricing documentation. Additional tasks involve data gathering for benchmarking studies, tax audit readiness, and contributing to the development of AI and automation tools to optimize tax processes.
Candidates should be in the final years of a degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory. A strong command of Microsoft Excel, an analytical mindset, proactive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Prior exposure to an accounting or tax environment is highly valued but not required. The position requires full-time availability (40 hours per week) for a duration of 6 to 12 months, based in Madrid.
