2026 Voyager Summer Internship - Software Engineering
Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for the 2026 Summer Internship program in El Segundo, CA. This 10-week immersive program, running from June 8 to August 14, 2026, offers university and graduate students hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Interns will gain exposure to mentorship, networking, and professional development opportunities.
The selected intern will focus on enhancing the company's internal image labeling tool to prepare it for external customer use. Key responsibilities include evaluating and redesigning user workflows for clarity and ease of use, implementing UI improvements on the tool’s front end, designing and testing deployment and installation workflows, creating documentation and onboarding materials, and collaborating with backend engineers to understand database and service dependencies.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with senior standing by fall 2026. Required qualifications include experience with frontend development and UI frameworks, understanding of basic UX principles and user-centered design, familiarity with Python or web backend concepts, basic knowledge of Docker and deployment workflows, strong communication and documentation skills, and the ability to travel for in-person orientation and program kickoff, as well as for the final presentation at program completion.
The hourly pay range for this position is $23.50 to $30.00, determined by academic year, college major, line of business, and geography.
