Account Development Representative
The Account Development Representative (ADR) at PitchBook Data plays a pivotal role within the Account Management & Customer Success team, focusing on generating qualified opportunities and driving early-stage pipeline growth within core accounts. This position involves close collaboration with Account Managers and Business Development Representatives to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within existing client relationships and target territories. Key responsibilities include conducting outbound prospecting and managing inbound account leads to create a steady flow of high-quality opportunities that support sales goals. The ADR will perform discovery calls, thoroughly qualify prospects, and ensure a strong fit before handing off to account teams. Meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution is essential. Additionally, the role involves researching accounts and territories to uncover new contacts and decision-makers, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce to craft tailored messaging, and maintaining accurate records to ensure visibility and smooth progression of opportunities.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of outbound prospecting experience. A client-first attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a keen interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital, are crucial. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software are also important. Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.
The compensation for this role includes a base salary of $65,000, with an on-target variable commission of $32,500 for fully ramped representatives meeting expectations, totaling an annual income of $97,500.
