Customer Success Manager, PitchBook
The Customer Success Manager at PitchBook Data is a client-facing role aimed at cultivating strong relationships with clients and ensuring they get maximum value from PitchBook’s suite of financial data solutions. The position is part of the Customer Success team, which plays a critical role in onboarding new clients, supporting ongoing user engagement, and maintaining high client satisfaction in a fast-growing, data-driven environment. In this role, the Customer Success Manager is responsible for proactively engaging with a dedicated portfolio of clients, guiding them through onboarding, understanding their unique business needs, and driving adoption of the platform and its features. Day-to-day activities include hosting training sessions, recommending tailored solutions, addressing client inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal product, sales, and research teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience. The goal is to ensure renewal and retention by consistently demonstrating value and acting as the client’s advocate within PitchBook.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and several years of experience in customer success, client management, account management, or related fields, ideally within the financial services or technology sectors. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment. Familiarity with SaaS and financial data products, as well as proficiency in client-facing presentations, are highly valued.
