Account Development Representative
The Account Development Representative (ADR) at PitchBook Data plays a pivotal role within the Account Management & Customer Success team, focusing on generating qualified opportunities and driving early-stage pipeline growth within core accounts. This position involves close collaboration with Account Managers and Business Development Representatives to uncover growth potential and identify new opportunities across designated territories.
Key responsibilities include conducting outbound prospecting and managing inbound account leads to create qualified opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality pipeline that supports sales goals. The ADR conducts discovery calls, thoroughly qualifies prospects before handoff, and meets or exceeds monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution. Additionally, the role involves researching accounts and territories to uncover new contacts and decision-makers, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and to craft tailored messaging, and maintaining accurate records in Salesforce.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of outbound prospecting experience. A client-first attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a keen interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital, are essential. Prior experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred, along with strong prioritization skills and the ability to operate with a sense of urgency to deliver results.
