Account Director
As an Account Director at Diligent Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer engagement within the Netherlands. This position involves expanding product adoption among existing clients and introducing new customers to Diligent's innovative solutions. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions to a diverse clientele.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of Diligent's products and business priorities, prospecting new and existing business within your designated territory, and adopting a solutions-selling approach to address customer needs. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, create and execute account plans to meet revenue targets, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive business growth. Additionally, you will manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity identification to deal closure, while effectively utilizing sales tools and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in account management and new business acquisition, with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets, preferably within highly regulated industries, SaaS, or the GRC space. Strong abilities to build trust and influence senior leaders, a passion for continuous learning, exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, and a knack for aligning technology solutions with business objectives are essential. Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven approach are also key to thriving in this fast-paced environment.
