The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations — Systems and Automation at Diligent Corporation is responsible for overseeing the systems, workflows, documentation, and automation processes that enhance the scalability, reliability, and AI integration of Marketing Operations. This role is pivotal in modernizing marketing operations by improving system governance, reducing technical debt, and identifying opportunities to simplify or automate manual go-to-market workflows. The position requires close collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Web, and internal systems/data teams to optimize go-to-market processes.

Key responsibilities include managing the governance, documentation, and operational health of core marketing systems such as Marketo and related go-to-market tools. The role involves identifying and mitigating technical debt across marketing-owned systems, integrations, workflows, and recurring operational processes. Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop and manage a roadmap focused on enhancing speed, quality, consistency, and team capacity through improved systems and automation. Establishing clear operating standards for marketing systems and workflow requests, including intake, prioritization, documentation, ownership, escalation paths, and change management, is also a critical aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate should have over seven years of experience in Marketing Operations, Marketing Systems, Revenue Operations, or related functions, preferably within a B2B SaaS or complex enterprise go-to-market environment. Proficiency with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms, including governance, administration standards, program architecture, troubleshooting, and scalable process design, is essential. A strong working knowledge of Salesforce and common go-to-market systems, integrations, lifecycle processes, routing/enrichment workflows, and data flows is required. Experience with go-to-market automation, enrichment, or workflow tools such as Glean, Clay, ZoomInfo, Common Room, Workato, Qualified, 6sense, or similar platforms is advantageous. The candidate should also have practical experience using automation and/or AI tools to improve workflows, documentation, quality assurance, troubleshooting, analysis, or operational throughput.

Compensation for this role ranges from $131,000 to $164,000 CAD annually.
