Account Executive - African Markets
Lighthouse is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth in the African market. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and building strong relationships to expand Lighthouse's presence in the region. The successful candidate will demonstrate the value of Lighthouse's solutions to the hospitality industry in Africa.
Key responsibilities include actively seeking and developing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking. The Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, from opportunity generation and product demonstrations to contract negotiation and deal closing. Maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed commercial targets is essential. Additionally, the role involves developing and executing a strategic business plan to expand Lighthouse's presence and achieve sales objectives in the assigned territory. Upselling the product suite to existing clients and providing valuable customer feedback to the Product team are also key aspects of the position.
The ideal candidate will be native or fluent in French and English, with Arabic proficiency considered a plus. Demonstrable experience in business development, particularly in a full sales cycle role at a Software as a Service company, is required. A natural "hunter" mindset with a proven track record in seeking, acquiring, and driving new business is essential. Passion for the travel and technology industry, proactivity, self-motivation, and the ability to propose new ideas and process improvements are highly valued. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems and related sales tools is necessary. Curiosity about AI and a focus on performance, with an interest in exploring how automation and data can improve results, are also important qualities.
