Account Executive - African Markets
Lighthouse is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth in the African market. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and building strong relationships to expand Lighthouse's presence in the region. The successful candidate will demonstrate the value of Lighthouse's solutions to the hospitality industry in Africa.
Key responsibilities include actively seeking and developing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and networking. The Account Executive will manage the entire sales process, from opportunity generation and product demonstrations to contract negotiation and deal closure. Maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed commercial targets is essential. Additionally, the role involves developing and executing strategic business plans to expand Lighthouse's presence, upselling products to existing clients, providing customer feedback to the Product team, and leveraging AI-driven insights to optimize sales processes.
The ideal candidate will be native or fluent in Arabic and English, with demonstrable experience in business development within a Software as a Service (SaaS) company. A natural "hunter" mindset with a proven track record in acquiring and driving new business is crucial. Passion for the travel and technology industry, proactivity, self-motivation, and the ability to propose new ideas and process improvements are highly valued. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems and related sales tools is required. Curiosity about AI and a focus on performance, with an interest in exploring how automation and data can improve results, are also important.
