Komodo Health is seeking an Area Vice President of Sales to join our Partnerships vertical sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing client relationships with payers, providers, and health tech organizations. Your primary focus will be to expand our Technology Partnerships business by effectively engaging these segments and proposing appropriate Komodo solutions to address high-priority customer needs. Additionally, you will drive education and adoption of our Healthcare Map and Technology Solutions in the market, while owning sales and expansion targets for new and assigned accounts.

Key responsibilities include communicating Komodo's value proposition to clients both before and after deal execution, partnering with clients to design and deliver solutions that address a broad range of business challenges, and establishing and maintaining ongoing client relationships with key stakeholders to drive new business development. You will also support business development through the creation of proposed solutions, including the design of analytics and insights platforms, timelines, and budgets. Collaboration with Komodo's Product, Customer Success, and Engineering Teams is essential to ensure our data and technology solutions effectively answer the industry's most pressing healthcare questions, resulting in sustained customer engagement and ROI. Maintaining accurate records of sales, pipeline, and deal activities in Salesforce, as well as an accurate sales funnel to inform internal resourcing and priorities, is also expected.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong track record in finding, qualifying, and selling new enterprise business opportunities. A history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas for new business development and revenue generation is essential. The ability to quickly build meaningful relationships, foster them, and convert them into business is crucial. Experience in creating and developing business development strategies for payer, provider, or health tech companies to maximize their marketed and pipeline product offerings is required. Demonstrated ability to work with and manage relationships with customers and partners at senior management and director levels, with bonus points for experience with C-suite executives, is highly valued. Comfort in providing recommendations and solutions based on rigorous research and deep expertise, experience managing strategic accounts with penetration into multiple customer groups, natural curiosity, unstructured problem-solving skills, and extensive experience in structuring client deliverables in PowerPoint or Google Slides are also important. A passion for healthcare, life sciences, data, and technology, along with excellent organizational and planning skills, strong decision-making abilities, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills, are essential. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, or improve decision-making is also desired.

Komodo Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 annually, depending on location and experience. This position is also eligible for commissions in accordance with a written agreement or plan, as well as potential equity awards.
