The Account Executive, Core at PitchBook Data is a pivotal role within the Sales team, focusing on new client acquisition and driving business growth. The role is based in New York, NY, and requires in-office presence five days a week.

Key responsibilities include consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals, effectively managing a pipeline of high-quality Core segment opportunities, and working closely with Business Development Associates to understand client use cases. The Account Executive will independently prospect new business opportunities, perform product demonstrations tailored to client needs, and guide clients through needs analysis and discovery sessions. Collaboration with client development and account management teams is essential to ensure successful client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of successful sales and business development experience, preferably with a technology product. Proficiency in managing opportunities using Salesforce or similar CRM systems is required. Strong negotiation skills, a keen interest in financial markets—particularly private equity and venture capital—and the ability to engage with a diverse array of clients are essential. The role demands a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual with excellent prioritization and communication skills.

Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary of $110,000, with an on-target variable commission leading to total earnings of $175,000.
