Account Executive, Enterprise - Tennessee
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Motive, you will be responsible for developing and closing business with the company's largest prospects in Tennessee. This role involves selling into North America's most impactful companies that power the physical economy. Motive provides an integrated operations platform designed to enhance safety, productivity, and profitability for industries such as transportation, construction, and logistics.
In this position, you will prospect and win new enterprise business by developing key executive relationships within target accounts. Your day-to-day activities will include harnessing these relationships to secure RFP wins, growing contractual-based business, and partnering with your account team to leverage customer analytics for optimized buying decisions. Additionally, you will work with technical resources to demonstrate the value of integrations and the partner ecosystem, aiming to meet and exceed ongoing business goals and revenue quotas.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of SaaS or industry-relevant enterprise field sales experience, with a strong track record of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing their book of business. You should possess the ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers, influence outcomes through an understanding of the customer's business, and effectively convey key value propositions. A data-driven mindset for charting sales goals and best-in-class communication skills are essential. The role requires the ability to travel twice a month and is focused on the Tennessee territory.
Motive offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, pharmacy, optical, and dental care benefits, paid time off, sick time off, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and 401(k) contributions. Compensation for this role includes on-target earnings (base pay plus commissions) ranging from $230,000 to $300,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
