Account Executive
The Account Executive role at PitchBook Data focuses on driving new business within the alternative investment industry, particularly supporting Lumonic, a subsidiary specializing in private credit management. This position involves full-cycle sales responsibilities, requiring an entrepreneurial approach to prospecting and relationship-building with fund managers and investment professionals. The Account Executive will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing platform adoption.
Key responsibilities include proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in private credit, private equity, and venture capital markets. The role entails building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, conducting product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements, and developing deep technical product knowledge to effectively articulate Lumonic’s capabilities. Additionally, the Account Executive will collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and contribute to the company's overall growth strategy.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, or related fields, and have at least three years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in financial technology or alternative investments. A strong understanding of private credit, private equity, and venture markets is essential, along with the ability to engage in financial discussions with investors. Proven skills in independent prospecting, relationship-building, and leading product demonstrations are required, as well as excellent communication and negotiation abilities. An entrepreneurial mindset and proficiency in CRM and prospecting tools are also important.
