The Account Executive, Renewal Sales at Kapitus plays a pivotal role within the Renewals Department, focusing on active account management, cross-selling, and maintaining strong merchant relationships. This position collaborates with various business units and senior management to enhance account penetration, drive revenue growth, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include generating revenue within a designated region or set of accounts, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing renewal business. The role involves providing tailored recommendations based on customers' business needs and usage patterns, acting as the customer's advocate to gather feedback, qualify leads, and strategize on business opportunities. Additionally, the Account Executive handles inbound customer communications, addressing billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries, and works closely with teams like Underwriting and Leadership to develop strategic financial plans for clients.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least one year of full sales cycle experience, preferably in financial services or consultative sales. Essential skills include collaboration with internal sales teams, experience selling across various industries, the ability to engage multiple stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, proficiency with CRM programs (preferably Salesforce), and excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong sense of accountability and basic business math skills are also important.
Kapitus offers a competitive base salary starting at $55,000, complemented by commission opportunities.
