Kapitus is seeking a Strategic Partnership Manager to lead and expand our referral partner channel. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day partner relationships, optimizing referral processes, and overseeing programs that enhance our competitive edge in small business lending. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners who refer small business clients to our lending solutions, making a deep understanding of referral and affiliate program mechanics essential. Experience in financial services, particularly small business lending, is strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities include serving as the primary contact for a portfolio of strategic and referral partners, managing the full partner lifecycle from onboarding to ongoing retention, and establishing proactive engagement routines to drive partner loyalty and production. The role also involves resolving partner issues promptly, maintaining account health, and identifying and eliminating friction points in the referral submission and funding pipeline. Additionally, the Strategic Partnership Manager will design and refine scalable partner enablement programs, oversee daily operations of referral and affiliate programs, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Candidates should possess 3–6 years of experience in account management, partner/channel management, or business development, with a strong understanding of referral program mechanics. The ability to manage a large portfolio of accounts with high organization and follow-through is essential, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. An analytical mindset for interpreting CRM and performance data is required, and a background in financial services, fintech, alternative lending, or banking is preferred. Hands-on experience with referral or affiliate programs in small business lending is a significant differentiator, as is familiarity with affiliate/partner management platforms and working knowledge of small business lending products.

Kapitus offers a competitive base salary ranging from $89,700 to $143,900, with quarterly incentive compensation based on performance.
