The role involves identifying and implementing strategies to mitigate churn risks, recognizing opportunities for upselling and cross-selling by aligning new solutions with client needs, and leading commercial discussions with senior stakeholders to ensure value alignment and partnership continuity. Collaboration with the Customer Success team is essential to understand client context, engagement, and account health, supporting negotiations and structuring commercial proposals through to closure. Additionally, the role requires proactive monitoring and management of performance indicators such as retention, expansion, and churn.

Candidates should have prior experience in sales roles such as Account Executive or similar positions, with a strong focus on negotiation. Experience in contract renewals, upselling, and client retention is essential, along with the ability to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, including senior levels. A consistent track record of meeting commercial targets related to revenue, expansion, and retention is required. The role demands the capability to handle complex negotiations that balance client and business interests, as well as experience in dynamic environments like technology, SaaS, or recurring services.
