As an Account Manager on Square's SMB Services team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting small and medium-sized business owners within the services industry to maximize their use of Square's comprehensive solutions. Reporting to the Services lead, you will focus on building meaningful partnerships with clients in sectors such as Health & Beauty, Entertainment & Leisure, Home Repair, Healthcare & Fitness, and Home Repair. Your primary objective will be to understand each client's unique needs and provide tailored guidance to help them achieve their business goals through Square's integrated ecosystem.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include managing and growing a multi-million dollar customer base by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Square's products and features. You will proactively address customer concerns and issues, ensuring a seamless experience across all aspects of Square. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Support, and Product teams to enhance the managed accounts program and deliver optimal solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or a related field, with a proven track record of discovering and closing sales opportunities and building strong client relationships. Experience in successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets is essential. Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are required, along with a passion for leveraging new technologies to better serve small and medium-sized businesses. Experience within the services industry, particularly in subverticals such as Health & Beauty, Entertainment & Leisure, Home Repair, Healthcare & Fitness, and Home Repair, is preferred.
