Territory Account Executive, Leeds
Square is seeking a Territory Account Executive to join its field sales organization in Leeds, UK. This role focuses on engaging local businesses, demonstrating Square's mission of economic empowerment, and providing a local presence to sellers. The position is field-driven, requiring significant time spent in the market meeting businesses, conducting live demos, and closing deals.
Key responsibilities include spending approximately 80% of the week in the field, engaging local businesses, and conducting 50–60 targeted business visits weekly. The role involves running a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion: generating leads, identifying needs, delivering compelling demos, and closing deals across Square's full product suite. Additionally, the executive will build strong, trust-based relationships with local sellers, ensure seamless onboarding experiences, and implement referral strategies to generate future opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have over three years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role with field sales experience. They should have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, selling a diverse ecosystem of products, and closing complex deals. The role requires the ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, along with business development experience, such as hunting and cold calling. Reliable transportation and residency in the Leeds market are essential, as is a collaborative and team-player mentality. Prior experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems is also required.
