The Account Manager at Carlsmed is a vital member of the commercial team, focusing on supporting sales growth and facilitating the onboarding and servicing of surgeons' clinics. This role is integral to the company's mission of enhancing outcomes and reducing healthcare costs in spine surgery through the aprevo® personalized surgery platform. The position is based in Los Angeles, with a preference for candidates located in San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, or Salt Lake City.

Key responsibilities include training and onboarding new clinics to ensure seamless integration of the aprevo technology, accelerating the completion of initial case series. The Account Manager will develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and clinic staff, ensuring timely collection of all required imaging and pre-surgical patient information to support surgery scheduling. Additionally, the role involves maintaining the aprevo Certified Provider user base, increasing utilization, and driving deeper penetration in approved accounts by developing new surgeon leads.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with over three years of experience in medical devices, surgical, imaging, or related fields. Experience in spine and familiarity with medical device sales are strongly preferred. The role requires the ability to manage a large territory and a willingness to travel up to 60%.
