Account Services Manager - Franchise Growth
The Account Services Manager - Franchise Growth role at Block focuses on expanding Square's presence within decentralized franchise seller relationships. These franchises encompass thousands of individual sellers, some of whom already use Square's platform, while many others do not. The position is integral to the Strategic Account Management team, which aims to help complex merchants maximize their use of Square's solutions.
Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging new leads within existing franchise relationships who are not currently utilizing Square. The role involves managing these leads through the entire sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing. Additionally, the Account Services Manager will collaborate with Senior Account Managers to develop growth strategies, cross-sell and upsell products, and address customer concerns effectively.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in sales, business development, or account management. Essential skills include the ability to source and close sales opportunities, manage a pipeline to achieve revenue targets, and build strong client relationships. A strong interest in business operations and strategy, along with excellent organizational and communication skills, is also required. Experience with Salesforce and comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity are considered advantageous.
