Senior Sales Account Executive

The Senior Sales Account Executive will be part of Block's Outbound Sales Team, focusing on acquiring new small and mid-sized business (SMB) and mid-market merchants. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and requires a deep understanding of Block's diverse product ecosystem to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of each merchant.
Key responsibilities include building and managing a high-quality sales pipeline through various outreach methods, conducting in-depth discovery sessions, delivering product demonstrations, and negotiating complex deals. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Business Development, Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Operations to deliver cohesive solutions. Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce is essential.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quotas. Experience in outbound prospecting and net-new business creation, particularly in SaaS or fintech, is preferred. Strong consultative selling skills, exceptional communication abilities, and proficiency with Salesforce are essential. A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience is required.
