Accounting Manager

Archer is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance team in San Jose, California. As a leader in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, Archer is at the forefront of sustainable air mobility solutions. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

In this role, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close processes. They will also oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, along with a minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred. Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and proficiency in accounting software are required. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
