Archer is seeking a results-driven Buyer II to join our Purchasing team in a fast-paced, evolving aerospace environment. The Buyer II will collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure timely, cost-effective material availability that supports our aggressive production schedule and milestones.

Key responsibilities include placing purchase orders for aircraft materials as required by SAP MRP and the manufacturing build schedule, managing ordering activities for aircraft materials and supporting goods and services, and maintaining the accuracy of open purchase orders. The role also involves establishing and maintaining supplier relationships to drive on-time material deliveries, supporting pre-SIOP activities, resolving invoicing discrepancies, and sourcing aircraft materials as needed. Infrequent travel may be required.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or have 4+ years of relevant experience. They should demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment, have experience with SAP ERP or equivalent systems, and be detail-oriented, results-driven, and a strong team player. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace, along with effective communication skills, are essential. Experience in the aerospace and/or automotive industry and an APICS certification are considered advantageous.

Archer offers a competitive base pay range of $75,200 to $95,000, with actual compensation determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
