AI & Data Engineer

WPP Media is seeking an AI & Data Engineer to join our Innovation Development Team in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. This role focuses on rapidly prototyping and validating AI and data science concepts, transforming them into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to demonstrate their feasibility and value. The position offers an opportunity to shape the future of media solutions for our high-profile clients.

As an AI & Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Solution Engineers to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative AI-driven solutions. Your responsibilities include developing interactive front-end demonstrations using React and TypeScript, creating Python-based back-end services to integrate advanced models, and setting up agile experimental environments in AWS utilizing Docker. The primary focus is on rapid iteration and effective demonstration of new approaches.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative or technical field such as Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a similar innovation-focused role is required, with a proven track record in rapid prototyping and development of AI solutions. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, Python, and experience with AWS and Docker are essential.
