Android Engineer
Veriff is seeking an Android Engineer to join our Engineering team, which is dedicated to developing scalable and innovative solutions for online identity verification. In this role, you will contribute to building a reliable, secure, and high-performing Android SDK that integrates seamlessly across a wide range of devices. As an Android Engineer at Veriff, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining our Android SDK with a focus on performance, security, and usability. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure compatibility across various Android devices, from low-end to high-end models. Your role will also involve writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating in code reviews, and assisting in debugging issues and resolving performance bottlenecks.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Android Developer with hands-on work in Kotlin and/or Java, familiarity with Android frameworks, and building mobile applications or SDK features. A basic understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration, experience with testing (unit or integration) and debugging, and knowledge of mobile app architecture and best practices (such as MVVM or clean architecture) are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and good communication skills are also important for success in this role.
