Senior Product Security Engineer

As a Senior Product Security Engineer at Veriff, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our digital identity verification platform. You will be part of the Engineering team, working collaboratively to enhance the security of our products and services. Veriff is a leading identity verification company, dedicated to building trust online by verifying over 10,300 government-issued documents from more than 230 countries and territories.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include organizing and conducting penetration tests, identifying and addressing system vulnerabilities, and improving information security services to bolster overall security. You will also collaborate closely with product teams to ensure that the code we deploy meets the highest security standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience as a security expert, penetration tester, or developer with cybersecurity expertise. Proficiency in any programming language, experience with deploying Docker instances, and familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes are essential. A proactive attitude and a willingness to engage in discussions and take initiative are highly valued.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, experience with TypeScript, React, and Python, and proficiency in SQL.
