AP Specialist
Archer, an aerospace company based in San Jose, California, is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our dynamic team. We are dedicated to advancing sustainable air mobility by designing and operating all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. Our mission is to revolutionize urban transportation with minimal noise and environmental impact.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices through 3-way and 2-way matching, monitoring invoice aging to ensure timely supplier payments, and handling purchase order and goods receipt discrepancies. Additionally, you will support our subsidiaries, manage expense reports, reconcile AP statements, and onboard new suppliers. Collaborating with various departments, you will work to resolve invoice-related issues and contribute to improving our systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of accounts payable and general accounting experience, with a solid understanding of sales and use tax. Experience in early-stage or high-growth companies is preferred, as is proficiency with SAP and strong skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Exposure to international payments and multicurrency transactions, along with excellent attention to detail and communication skills, are essential. Familiarity with invoice automation tools or expense management systems is also desirable.
We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000, determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
