Application Consultant Manager, Financial Systems
The Application Consultant Manager, Financial Systems, will join Harbor's Enterprise Solutions – Financial Systems team, focusing on delivering innovative solutions to law firm clients. This role involves evaluating financial system technologies, developing process roadmaps, and implementing change management strategies. The team collaborates with leading vendors to provide clients with product-specific expertise and market insights.
Key responsibilities include facilitating requirements gathering, documenting processes, and implementing identified solutions. The manager will provide specialist knowledge of technical applications such as Elite 3E and Aderant Expert, configure and develop technologies based on technical requirements, and support client business process reviews. Additionally, the role involves drafting deliverables, mentoring junior consultants, assisting in business development efforts, and conducting research on client industries and legal technology trends.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in legal technology, contributing to assessments, requirements gathering, system design, configuration, implementation, testing, and deployment. A strong understanding of the implementation and upgrade process, including requirement analysis, design, configuration/development, migration, testing, and change management, is essential. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in process mapping. Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a client service-centric mindset are also important.
