The Application Engineer - Presales role at Applied Intuition involves identifying new sales opportunities and driving them to successful, long-term engagements. As a key member of the team, the Application Engineer bridges the company's product and engineering expertise with its customer-centric culture.
Key responsibilities include working with sales representatives to identify and qualify new revenue opportunities with both new and existing customers. The role also involves collaborating with Product Specialists to build compelling demonstrations that highlight the capabilities of Applied's products. Additionally, the Application Engineer will host customers onsite at Applied's offices to strengthen relationships and showcase the team's expertise.
The ideal candidate possesses acute attention to detail and an execution-focused mindset. Strong communication skills and a focus on solving customer problems are essential. Familiarity with best practices in large-scale software development is required, along with experience working directly with customers and a desire to grow technical and engineering skills. Fluency in German, English, or Swedish is also necessary.
Preferred qualifications include a background in technical sales application engineering for engineering products, experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers, and prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains.
Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $105,000 to $165,000 USD annually, along with equity and benefits.
