Area Sales Director, IL/WI
As an Area Sales Director at Cato Networks, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in Illinois and Wisconsin during a period of significant expansion. You will lead a team of Sales Directors, focusing on achieving new business quotas and closing high-value customer deals. This role reports to the AVP Sales, Central, and operates remotely from a home office.
Your primary responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team of Sales Directors to meet individual and team sales targets. You will oversee all aspects of the sales cycle, from quoting and negotiating to closing complex transactions, while developing executive-level relationships with key prospects. Additionally, you will coordinate regular pipeline reviews, training sessions, and implement corporate objectives to maintain high productivity standards.
The ideal candidate possesses over 10 years of field and remote B2B sales experience, consistently exceeding quotas, particularly in networking and security solutions within competitive markets. A minimum of 2 years managing individual contributor sales teams is required. Strong skills in contract negotiations, accurate sales forecasting, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, expanding environment are essential. Experience in channel recruitment and enablement, as well as selling cloud-based solutions, is advantageous.
Cato Networks offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary range of $350,000 to $420,000, subject to variation based on skills, experience, location, training, and certifications.
