As an Associate Analyst in the EMEA Private Capital team at PitchBook Data, you will be immersed in the private markets, contributing to research that aids investors, advisors, and market participants. This role is integral to the Editorial team, which focuses on delivering actionable insights into private equity and venture capital within the EMEA region. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the EMEA Private Capital team by gathering and analyzing data on alternative investments, with a focus on venture capital and private equity. You will establish research frameworks to provide independent commentary and forecasts, utilizing proprietary PitchBook data and various external sources. Additionally, you will write and edit research reports, manage their distribution, and collaborate with data and product teams to enhance research quality.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics, though this is not essential. A strong understanding of financial concepts such as valuation techniques, internal rates of return, and portfolio management is required. You should have at least one year of experience in equity research or a related financial services role, with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in private financial markets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems are also important.
