Associate Applied AI Engineer (APAC) - Orbit Program
Celonis is seeking an Associate Applied AI Engineer to join their Value Engineering team as part of the Orbit Graduate Program. This 12-month program is designed to fast-track careers in the SaaS industry through hands-on learning, mentorship, and a collaborative team culture. The role involves working closely with sales and customers to develop innovative AI-driven solutions using the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
In this position, the engineer will support the APAC Value Engineering team by engaging with customers to identify core business challenges and determine how Celonis can help achieve their objectives and AI strategies. Responsibilities include executing proof projects to showcase the platform's value, developing AI solutions tailored to customer needs—including machine learning and LLM-based solutions—and delivering presentations to senior executives to drive investment decisions. The role also involves building strong customer relationships, sharing insights with internal teams to influence product innovations, and creating reusable collateral and best practices within the Global VE Center of Excellence.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or related areas, along with relevant work or internship experience. A passion for technology, data, and AI is essential, as well as basic knowledge or hands-on experience in SQL and/or Python. Exposure to process mining principles and completion of Celonis "Rising Star" modules are advantageous. Strong analytical and creative thinking skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to build relationships with senior management are also important. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Korean is beneficial for applicants targeting the Korean market.
