Associate Corporate Counsel

The Associate Corporate Counsel at Legend Biotech US will be an integral member of the legal team, providing comprehensive legal support across various departments within the company. Legend Biotech is a global biotechnology firm dedicated to developing innovative cell therapies for life-threatening diseases, with its U.S. headquarters located in Somerset, New Jersey.

In this role, the Associate Corporate Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including licensing agreements, partnership contracts, and confidentiality agreements. The position also involves ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations pertinent to the biotechnology industry, advising on corporate governance matters, and supporting the company's intellectual property initiatives.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. A minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors, is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
