As an Associate Data Analyst in Customer Support at PitchBook Data, you will be an integral part of the Account Management & Customer Success team. This role focuses on interpreting client data requests and delivering customized analytics to a diverse clientele, including private capital investors, investment banks, and service providers. Your contributions will directly enhance the customer experience and inform product improvements, aligning with PitchBook's commitment to innovation and excellence.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include building custom charts and visualizations using tools such as Salesforce, Excel, and SQL. You will manage and complete time-sensitive custom research requests, respond to client inquiries regarding data and published research, and collaborate with support teams to provide guidance to Tier 1 and 2 specialists. Additionally, you will document interactions in Salesforce to facilitate research and product enhancements.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with 1-3 years in a financial services role or experience working with large datasets. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas, as well as experience with SQL, is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and an interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital, are also required. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is preferred.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary of $85,000, with a target annual bonus percentage of 7.5%.
