WPP Media Hong Kong is seeking an Associate Director of Finance to lead the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions within the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is pivotal in managing core accounting processes, providing strategic financial insights to inform leadership decisions, overseeing transactional operations, and ensuring robust internal controls and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). The Associate Director will also lead all audit engagements and support senior management and business leaders across the agency.

Key responsibilities include managing daily accounting operations such as maintaining the general ledger, preparing periodic financial statements, and generating management reports. The role oversees billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, the Associate Director will provide input to management through monthly analyses of income statements, balance sheets, and various key performance indicator reports.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Business, Commerce, Legal, Finance, or Accounting, and possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. A qualified accountant with experience in external, internal, or SOX audits is preferred. The role requires a proactive and meticulous individual capable of working independently and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, are essential. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as in Microsoft Office applications, is required.
